I've found out that Ellard and Salad have decided to continue with the album. They have another bass player and will probably play an album release show when it's finished. Ellard has also set up a new Pillow Pusher website, so I will no longer be hosting it. I will leave this page up for a while, but for all future news and info about Pillow Pusher please click here.

This past Saturday the 17th, I decided to let Salad and Ellard know that I was quitting the band. It took a lot of consideration on my part but I realized it was something I needed to do. And when the time came to do it, it wasn't easy. Ellard had put some time and energy into preparing to record PP's second album. He seemed like he was pretty excited about getting on with it, and I'm sure I took the wind right out of his sails. Salad seemed pretty deflated too. We certainly invested a lot of time in getting this last bunch of songs up to muster, so one might say I had pretty bad timing. But I think it was better for me to make my exit before the album was recorded than after. And is there ever really a good time for something like this? I don't think so.

I left the ball in their court when we left the other day. I told them I would still record the album with them if they wanted. But I'm not sure they were interested in that. They both seemed to think that my quitting meaned the end of Pillow Pusher all together, and I haven't heard from either of them since then, so the future seems a little unsure.

At any rate, I would like to thank everyone who came out to the Pillow Pusher shows, bought our cd, or supported us along the way. It means a lot to me and I have to say we had some damned good times. So thanks.
